Is this gonna be like the 2012-2013 season where Lakers were pretending the season restarted after every time they lost ?

And after a slow start, Kobe willed them back into Playoff position?

Kobe in February: 24/7/7 on 49% shooting
Kobe in March: 30/6/7 on 45/38/82 shooting, sprains his ankle badly @DET
Kobe in March post-ankle injury: 27/5/8 on 42% shooting
Kobe in April: 31/7/8/2/1 on 44% shooting

Kobe had b2b 40+ pt 12+ ast games in March, both were big time comeback wins.

He will do it again this season.

This is a bit of an overreaction to two games, but coming into the season I did see the Lakers fighting for an eight seed. With Young back, the odds are still against them, but they are certainly capable. I never count out Kobe, and it's not like Boozer, Young, and Lin are scrubs. The bench is really quite weak, though.

Lakers making the playoffs might not be a good thing but even if the Lakers play good ball the rest of the season the odds of them making the playoffs out west is slim.

In terms of rankings, shouldn't Kobe's more or less be set??? We've seen his prime, peak, and accolades. The next few years shouldn't really change much.
