Default Lebron Monitors Knicks, Trade Mystically Heals Harrington

The AP:

Quote:
LeBron James said from Cleveland on Saturday that he's monitoring the rest of the NBA as teams work to get under the cap in hopes of signing him in 2010.

"2010 is a big summer. It's two years away, but time goes fast. We'll see what happens. You watch what's going on," James said.

LeBron was humored by the media reaction to the trades and that he was still the focal point despite six players changing addresses.

"I figured that would happen," James said. "They don't care about the guys that were coming to the Knicks. It gets funny. Guys need things to write about some times. I'm OK with it."

NY Daily News: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/ba...already-1.html

Quote:
Al Harrington was expected to miss another week of action with a back injury, but his trade from Golden State to New York appears have had some healing powers.

Harrington will make his debut for the Knicks on Tuesday night against LeBron James and the Cavaliers.

"I think everybody is starting to look at the Knicks as an organization that is definitely going to be working toward the championship and trying to be back on top of basketball again," said Harrington. "I think that's how everybody across the league feels, and I think in 2010 there are going to be a lot of guys calling and trying to be with the Knicks."

Lebron closely watches the knicks' moves. Interesting. That can't make Cleveland fans feel too good.

Or Nets fans, for that matter.

Even Al knows its all about Lebron. With his magically trade healed back, he's not even talking about the knicks himself, only free agents (Lebron).

I love how the media writes their article so they can change his quoted text into a story just by separating him saying "you watch whats going on" and "I figured that would happen." It would be nice if we could just talk about whats actually going on in the NBA instead of what might happen in 2 years.

I'm still trying to figure out the rotation of players for the Knicks... is it this?

PG: Duhon
SG: Q-Rich
SF: T-Thomas
PF: Harrington
C: Lee

Or will he still try and keep Wilson Chandler in there and use Thomas off the bench?

My two most-hated NBA players (Thomas and Harrington) better not screw up the fantasy value of two guys on my squad that actually play the right way (Chandler and Lee)

Well of course he's checking out what teams are doing in order to have enough cap space for 2010...but the least you can say is that that article / title is quite misleading.

It will be:

PG: Duhon
SG: Mobley
SF: Chandler
PF: Harrington
C: Jeffries (when healthy)

First off bench: Lee, Robinson, Thomas, Richardson

Buried: Rose, Roberson, J. James

Injured: Gallinari

Never: Marbury, Curry

Soon to join: Patrick Ewing, Jr.

Lineup would probably be:

Duhon
Mobley
QRich
Harrington
Lee

Chandler
Robinson
Jeffries - Diaw-like role
Thomas
Roberson
Gallinari is injured

I would rather see a lineup of

Duhon
Mobley
Chandler
Harrington
Lee

and the second unit would be like a weak starting line-up

Robinson
Roberson
QRich
Jeffries
Rose

Of course he's checking. But that it doesn't make him more likely to go there. They will suck simple as that.
