If LeBron goes 2/8 in the Finals and then fails to make them again...
Say LeBron loses this year, is 2/6 in the Finals, and makes it again next year but loses, is 2/7, repeats the process again for 2/8 and then the NBA reformats the playoffs to be just the top 16 teams and LeBron never makes the Finals again.
How would that affect his legacy? Would it push him out of the top 10 all time? Only winning his rings with Wade, underwhelming otherwise, failing to make it once the competition is leveled.

It' won't happen Simon cause He's going to win his 3rd NBA Championship this year while Curry, Durant, and Westbrook would be ringless.

LMAO. Nothing LeBron stans love more than to compare his success at age 30 to the success of guys who are 25-26 years old and have all proven themselves just as much if not more in the PO's than LeBron at the same age.
At this age, Durant has one finals loss but his stats were great. LeBron at the same age had one bad finals performance and then one all time bad choking finals performance

I officially bookmarked this thread. You are going to praise Lebron when he shut downs Curry, and wins his 3rd finals MVP.

Well in you weird, agenda-driven scenario, he would be past his prime once the competition levels.
And why would we assume that he's always going to lose? Some of y'all still try way to hard.

Thats the point of this thread because this scenario would likely devalue his previous accomplishments, since it would truly demonstrate how much easier his path has been to the finals than what other stars have had to go through.
plus, only winning with an uber stacked team playing 8v5 every series? Shit....

I'm assuming he's going to make it because of how weak the East is but at the moment I'd have to assume that he's going to lose because of both his track record but mainly because the Cavs team, especially as LeBron ages, just is not as good as they need to be. Not good enough defensively, most of the roster is on the decline, etc.

I would be completely shocked if Cavs beat Warriors.
