Default Clyde "The Glide" Drexler Top 10 Dunks

Never understood why Glide was hardly mentioned as one of the top dunkers of the 80s and 90s with MJ and Nique. Drexler was EASILY in their class when it came to athleticism and dunking.

Love #1 dunk. It's not the most devastating dunk but it perfectly personifies his nickname "Glide."

He was and is mentioned as one of the best dunkers from his era. I don't really like his dunks tbh

I think his dunks lack power? He's a more impressive leaper than dunker. Seems to last that half second longer, rise that many more inches higher, etc. But the finished product doesn't look all that great.

The stats show that it was harder to dunk in Clyde's day than today (of course, there was no 3-point shooting or spacing, so defenders didn't have to occupy the perimeter and could pack the middle of the floor - whereas in today's game, 3-point shooting draws defenders to the perimeter and leaves the paint and middle of the floor wide open.. of course, legal paint-camping exacerbated the no spacing to further congest the middle or the floor and paint.. also, defense was more physical with real paint-patrolling bigs).
