Oh and they were an in and out three away from game 7. Not to mention they dominated game 1 before one of the biggest choke jobs in recent history. That was a Warriors team where Jarrett Jack was the closer. Just let that sink in.
But bro you're still talking about 2013 Spurs.
I know mainstream fans think all these spurs teams are the same but Im telling you right now as a Spurs fan that 2015 spurs is different than 2014 spurs and almost night and day from 2013 spurs.
History is nothing to go by. And sweet Anthony Davis is a good player but so is Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Jamal Crawford, Deandre Jordan, and JJ Redick.

Yup. Spurs are in their kitchen cooking dinner.

Honestly, it feels like the Spurs are already champions. It's just a matter of who they beat and how badly.
It's just a matter of when, not if.
Outside of 1998, 2000, and 2010, when has it NOT been their title to lose?
Blake Griffin's game 2 turnover ruined the playoffs for me. It's just a countdown to the inevitable.

Now you're just reaching. Their young players got better but a night and day difference? nikka please. The night and day difference is the 2013 Warriors squad to this one literally because they changed the way they play and the squad is just overall much better.

It does look bleak. The problem with the league is that they've made the move to more team oriented ball but teams are just developing their starters for the most part while leaving their benches woefully inadequate. No one can compete with a team that plays 12-13 deep in a best of 7.
As soon as teams start developing their second and third tier personnel the Spurs play off run will not be such a certainty.

WHAT!?
Bro did you watch kawhi tonight?? Nando Decolo was called upon as backup pg in 2013 have you ever heard of a guy named patty mills? The 4th big for the spurs in 2013 was Matt Bonner, now it's Aron Baynes.
2013 Spurs relied entirely on their offensive system to win games because their only go to guys were still the big 3. They have this guy named Kawhi who is literally night and day from 2013.
GSW is a great team dont get me wrong. But you saying they'll win because of history is a terrible take tbh.

The Spurs are too perfectly perfect.
Other than Richard Jefferson, they have done no wrong.
And it just aggravates fans of other teams.
I don't think it's so much the flashiness over fundamentals, it's not exciting/boring (these are not the halfcourt first to 90 wins Spurs), but it's about fans wanting to see something different. New blood, if you will.
Some fans want to see Steph Curry, or James Harden, or CP3/Blake in the biggest stage of all.
Considering that only the Spurs/Mavs have made an NBA Final among the 8 West playoff team since the Rockets went back-to-back, it kinda gets a bit tedious for some to see the Spurs all the time.
