Is the number five pick ready to step in straight away? Depends on who it is.

all the above HAVE TO be likely for this deal to go down...what I am afraid of is that Danny Ainge finally found a new GM he can punk.

Last week it was Marion plus for KG, now a lot of question marks...yikes.

Which is why the Suns should get him. He doesn't belong on the Celtics. :)

I just hope that if this trade happens that the Suns don't draft Noah.

why not? noah would be a nice fit for their system. he runs the floor, has good hands, crashes the glass, makes smart passes, doesn't stop the ball, doesn't care about how many shot attempts he gets, plays defense, seems very intense and exuberant about winning. now a lot of teams he's not as good for because he doesn't have (or hasn't shown) the well developed one on one scoring game, but to run with nash, he's a good option imo.

I refuse to comment on this until a source that isn't the ESPN Trade Machine is posted.

I know he would fit in nicely but you can say that about a lot of players in the Suns system. I just dont think he will ever be a all-star type player and I would rather have a player like Brewer/J.Wright/B. Wright. I think Brandon Wright would compliment Amare in the future just like Kurt Thomas but better and the other two are great perimeter defenders which is what the Suns will need with Marion gone.

I guess I wouldnt be sad if they drafted Noah but I think we could have better options.

OMG why did I even comment on a trade without checking on the link. Especially when a guy named "RandomDrunk" posted it.

Anyways Danny Ainge will actually be in Phoenix today to supposedly watch Noah/Green/Brewer but I can see him having a talk with Marion and Phoenix execs.

okay, that makes sense. i do think brewer would be a great fit too. for basically all the same reasons as noah but with more upside. i'm not 100% sold on either of wrights yet because i just haven't seen them as much.

I like this deal for both teams. Not really big on taking Telfair's deal, but oh well.

ESPN Trade Machine or not, this has been a rumored deal for the past 2 weeks.
