    2019 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers

    Mexico 78 - USA 70

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_XPqRcYtZA

So much for all of the endless bullshit said in this forum over the years about how, "a D-League team would win the gold medal and go undefeated at every FIBA tournament".

The NBA only fan idiots of this forum are exposed once again.

And before any trolls start their crap - Mexico didn't even have 3 of its 5 best players.

Fun to see Van Gundy take that L; he's become such a tool.

    This is an absolute disgrace.

USA should be ashamed... this is basketball we're talking about.

    F*ck Mexico...

If they sent 12 guys working at Pizza hut and lost.....Im not feeling much shame. Putting "USA" on a jersey doesnt make a team representative of Americas basketball playing. This is like being ashamed of losing a corn on the cob eating contest when we send an old guy with no teeth.

    Losing in 2004 is shameful...in 02...06....

Not that any of those teams had the best we could send either.

I have no concerns about American basketball just because some guys born in America who nobody but their own family ever heard of lost a basketball game.

And how many good NBA players are on this team USA squad? Are any of them good enough to be considered top 400 in the league?

This is true. People say that because they've never followed European basketball, though quite a few NBA scrubs go to Euroleague and dominate. D1? ehh. Only a few teams could compete with Euroleague ones.

When you say "u guys" you do realize youre almost exclusively talking about trolls trying to get a rise out of someone right?

Nobody who puts some thought into it thinks college teams are better than Euroleague teams...that are often full of great college players who are better than they were in college.

The only response I can find on the issue from me is:

Real Madrid does have 4 all conference NCAA players and at least 3 NBA players on top of it.....and all of them are better than they would have been at 18 or 19.
