This guy knows whats up. It was way more fun than Skyrim but not as good as The Witchers. Dragon Age 2 however was probably the biggest gaming letdown for me in the last 10 years .

I totally agree. I couldn't believe what they did with DA2. It felt like such a lazy and rushed game. And the thing is that I still played through the entire damn thing because I had faint hope that it would get better. Also, I figured there would be more games in the series so I wanted to know the full story. And in the end, the overall story seemed fairly irrelevant anyways.

There have been TONS of great user-made mods for DAO that make it worthwhile to revisit the game for anyone who played it when it first came out.

Just a heads up, today ArmA2 goes on sale for 40%, so if anyone wanted to play DayZ, here's your chance.

It's also going standalone in September so might want to wait for that.

Been wanting to try that game. My problem with Steam is the massive download size and my internet connection is only 11 MBPS

Bastion is excellent. I got it for like $5.50 as part of the last Humble Bundle. Worth the full 15.

    Agreed.

Bastion was one of the best games I played last year. I liked it even more than big-name games like Skyrim. The story-telling is what keeps you playing. Great gameplay with a cool progression of rewards (new weapons, upgrades), a really nice and touching story even with a limited number of characters and the best soundtrack I've ever heard in a video game.

    It's a must play.

EDIT: Also, Bastion is a game that just gets better in my mind as time goes on and I re-visit it. I honestly think it will end up being one of my favourite games of all-time.

Dont shoot the messenger. I heard September was the expected date. They're going the minecraft route with releasing it in alpha and then going from there.
