I don't think losing the the Spurs would hurt Durant's legacy, but playing poorly in a series loss would. Same with Miami.

Losing to any team besides those two would look pretty bad in an MVP year.

Well, Miami did put pressure on themselves to win championships with the whole preseason talks in 2010. Durant hasn't really done anything like that. That's why there's not a lot of pressure on OKC to win. As we saw last season, so many things have to go right for a team to win. Bosh's rebound followed by Ray Allen's huge shot. You just never know what's gonna happen.

Lebron was correct that the pressure will reside with him until he retires, that's what comes with it for being the greatest player in the world. KD might have the best team but the expectation is still not as high as for Lebron. Lebron is the only player who's expected to win everytime and anything short of a championship is a failure season.

As long as Miami's big 3 are on the court competing they HAVE to win the title. Every year, no excuses. Wade could be a paraplegic right now, the pressure would still be 100% on LeBron to win. I think it's because teams are so stacked this year that people realize that there isn't one clear favorite to win it all.

The Clippers got so much better.

The Heat have slowed down a little.

The Thunder are as good as they've ever been but Westbrook's health is a little questionable at times.

The Spurs are looking amazing but will age catch up to them?

The Pacers were looking so strong at the beginning of the season, clear contenders. Can they get that back?
