The democrat strategy has always been to divide people and politicize identity. The way they do it has just become more sophisticated than their old "der, non whites and non Protestants are bad" approach.

If the democrat party moved to Israel, they'd employ the exact same strategy. Their entire strategy would be telling all the non Jews "hey, the other party hates you. They only like Jews. You can't trust them. You should never vote for them. You should only vote for us".

If the democrat party moved to Syria, their strategy would be to tell all the Shia, Christians and Kurds "the other party hates you. They only like Sunni Arabs. You should never vote for them."

If the democrat party moved to Northern Ireland, their entire strategy would be telling Catholics "the other party hates you. They only represent Protestants. You can't trust them. You should only vote for us."


It's the lowest of the low in politics. It's disgusting and it's what they've always done. And you better believe if some day the demographics shift, they'll adjust and use the same strategy. If for some reason there was mass immigration from eastern Europe because the EU went to hell or something and the US population shifted to be more right wing white Christian... I did know this. I listen to Howard Stern almost daily. One of his reoccurring guests is George Takei, who most would know as Sulu from the original Star Trek. A few times he's gotten into it how he and his family were actually held in concentration camps as a child and how he thought his father didn't fight hard enough to protect them, and how hard it was to also be a gay, in a concentration camp, to a father who was a decorated Japanese war veteran.

The guys had a hard life but he's incredibly inspirational with all the things he's overcome to be a huge success in America. He's a good guy, does a lot of charity work.
