But they don't pass the ball though.. Harden/LeBron/Westbrook = unselfish team.. they'd probably average 30+assists and 30+rebounds combined.

Their pass to shoot ratio is perfection in my opinion - they pass, 5+ apg is hardly a player that doesn't pass. If I wanted a team to win at some exhibition tourney of some sort and Kobe and MJ are my options vs say, a LeBron and Westbrook I'm taking MJ and Kobe every time because I just think they've got more grit and less hesitation to shoot the damn ball. You hesitate too much fishing for assists you can get killed in 3 on 3. MJ and Kobe are the type to strike while the iron is hot. They'd pass if it was the right play to make - but they wouldn't drain the clock and get stuck dribbling too much either.

Re: 3 on 3 LeBron/Westbrook/Harden vs Kobe/Durant/Jordan
Team MJ has a big advantage with height and length. Kobe taller/longer than Westbrook, MJ taller/longer than Harden, Durant taller/longer than James. Right out of the gate before you even look at abilities, team Jordan had a significant advantage.
Team MJ also has a defensive advantage since Harden and Westbrook are not very good defensively. Durant isn't that great a defender either, but he's better than those two.
Team Jordan are all top 25 all time or better. Team LeBron has a fringe top 25 guy in Harden (that may be too generous) and a guy in Westbrook who probably isn't really even top 40.
So before you even start looking at offensive abilities, team Jordan has a huge advantage. Since team LeBron in a best case scenario is roughly equal to team Jordan, and team Jordan has the significant size and defensive edge, this is easily team Jordan.

Westbrook/Harden/Lebron all play on low-assist teams:
Harden's Rockets: 28th
Westbrook's OKC: 25th
Lebron Lakers: 14th
These guys get their 8-10 apg by holding the ball the entire game - there wouldn't be room for 2 guys to hold the ball that long to get 10 assists, let alone 3 guys
The harden/westbrook/lebron team would be a mess - one of them would get to play their game (hold the ball all game for 10 assists), while the others would be standing off-ball not knowing what to do
Otoh, Kobe/MJ/Durant all play on high assist teams, because these guys have an off-ball skillset and are highly assisted players... IN ADDITION to their elite on-ball capability... And that's the thing - Durant/Kobe/MJ could easily play the playground style and dominate the ball like harden/westbrook/lebron, but then they wouldn't have 13 combined rings (westbrook/harden/lebron only have 3, none organic)

Obviously youre suffering from sudden amnesia, but to many Big O was a top 10 player because he was at the time the only player to average a triple dub for a season.. How many players averaged a triple double for 3 straight seasons... yet we're lead to believe Westbrook isn't top 40?
Also Harden is just getting started in his career probably having another MVP season.. back to back MVP seasons. Westbrook 1, Harden 2, LeBron 4 (7 total) vs Jordan 6, Kobe 1 and Durant 1 (8 total).. seems pretty even if you ask me. MVP = holy grail and the only current player on the latter team is capped when it comes to reg season MVP.. and again huge size advantage for team LeBron at ~240 vs ~210.

Big O is irrelevant other than that he's one of the many guys bumping Westbrook down the all time list.
Weight does matter as much as length/height in these matchups.
Westbrook isn't a good defender, he isn't a good scorer and he doesn't play smart. His high rebounding numbers are largely due to the team deliberately working to increase his numbers rather than because he's taking rebounds from the other team. They are irrelevant to his all time ranking. I do credit him for being better than most point guards as a rebounder, but it doesn't move the needle much in the all time rankings. He's not first option and he's of questionable value as a second option because he doesn't seem to recognize his scoring limitations.

Durant on Lebron
Kobe on Westbrook
Jordan on Harden
What do you think?

Way to discredit Westbrook.. if it's say easy to rack 10+ rebounds and assists.. why hasn't Bron done it once in either category?
Also..
LeBron according to his stans is bigger, faster, stronger than MJ.. 6ft 9 vs 6ft 5..
Westbrook is a hyperathlete the best rebounder at his position by far.. Kobe isn't even top 20 athlete at his position..
Durant vs Harden.. who wins in a bench press contest? hint: Beard
I think this is a fair matchup.. sure one has more size (240 vs 210) and other a little more length.. but lets not get crazy here.
Focus on the style of play more than a physical.. one style wins more than the other imho.
