It's a shame Kobe is spending his final years in a wheelchair and suit. Guys like Duncan and Shaq retired in the championship hunt. Even Jordan retired on a Wizards team that could of made the playoffs if the team wanted to. Such a shame how useless Kobe has become.

Edit: Ok what about teams like the Magic & 76er's who will have late lottery picks too? Or what about the Celtics who could still trade Rondo for some pieces or picks?

I think you guys aren't thinking it through fully teams like the Cavs and the above mentioned teams could turn their franchise around by trading for Kobe. Kobe has about 3yrs left and he could help them attract bigger FA signings in the next few years.

Out of the teams projected to pick in the top 7 this year I could see the Cavs, Magic, 76ers, & Celtics benefitting from trading for Kobe.
