Why are the beatles so hyped

that being said they do have a decent amount of actual good, REAL songs. Still way overhyped though.

I think you had to be alive through the timeline of the changes in music to completely understand older generations' passion for The Beatles. It's easy for us to sit here 40 years later and compare their entire catalogs, but The Beatles really were innovative in taking elements from the underground and applying it to pop music as well as putting their own unique spin on it.

I've always been a fan, myself, but I have no issues with people who prefer The Stones. Still, The Beatles deserve major respect for going from what was essentially bubble gum pop to some of the most innovative music in the world in the span of a couple years. They could have stayed in that little box and continued to sell millions of albums.

listen to led zeppelin and jimi hendrix who were releasing music around the same time as the beatles.

they sound so much more advanced and ahead of their time than the beatles did.
