I think they should start completely over if they can, which means firing Woodson. This team has no future with the current roster and coach.

What would you do, start with Melo or dump him? That's the worst thing about Dolan, it's all about money. The Knicks under him will never rebuild with young players and the draft, he doesn't want to risk having a team that doesn't win many games (oh the irony) for a few years if it means losing $$$.

That team is flawed though. I can't say I watch enough Knick games to comment on Woodson, but it would take a hell of a coach to win with this team.

I would keep Melo if I can. He isn't the problem. I mean he's not perfect, but he's still a franchise player. Start to build a young core around him and bring in some vets. It's going to take a couple of years though. Melo may not want to stay for that. Shump and Hardaway are good pieces for instance.

yes, exactly and woodson provides next to none of it.
and he has no plan whatsoever other than trying different lineups that consist of felton, jr and melo. thank god bargs is injured, otherwise we would see him showing opposing point guards the way from ray felton to the basket.

This time last year, people wanted Woodson COY. This isn't his fault. They lost leaders in the locker room, their bigs are walking sheets of glass, they re-signed JR for whatever reason, and this is what you get. This isn't a coaching issue. It's a bad ownership issue. Look at who the Knicks have had as coaches over the past decade or so. JVG(though not for long), Lenny Wilkens, Larry Brown. These are some of the better coaches you're ever going to see and even they couldn't do anything. Marbury was too much for even Larry Brown of all people.

It'll be hard to turn down those max $$ but melo should sign in LA
