    Why is this not interesting?

This would get a lot of interest on that other forum.

Team USA sent out their B team and mopped up 2016 Olympics

An entire European continent has to collude together just to compete vs 1 nation. Yikes

why are you including drummond and not ad? Obviously for now, eu is better but with ad i consider the us team

Edit: and i would put simmons at pg over russell even from just a fit standpoint

Replace US with North America. A lot of the Canadian Kids grow up playing in the US high school aau and college system.

Swap Trae Young to point guard and start John Collins and easy win for USA

I'm most surprised by how weak the US is at the SF position. Not surprising though as this is the position where skill really matters.

Europe is better at every position except SG, where they are horrid.

For some reason Europeans just can't manage to train good NBA shooting guards. Of course, the shooting guard position doesn't really exist in Europe. You could call shooting guard "atletic guard" like Mario Hezonja, but that kind of position is not so beneficial in FIBA where spacing is really lacking.
