Lowry/Gortat are both off the board...can't wait for more chips to fall.

Irving is getting the max at $18 million a season. Lowry put up pretty much duplicate numbers and is getting $12 million per year. Good deal in-my-opinion.

Well, it's not a bad deal. After sort of "going for it" last year, the Raptors had no choice but to show him the money.
I have many questions about the Raptors long-term plans (if there is one yet). You just can't let your best player leave but you also are probably not doing anything significant if Lowry is your best player and you have no money or pull to bring in anyone else. Maybe a trade? We'll see.
