Not as impressive when you see that the two teams averaged 124.5 and 117.8 ppg

lebron is averaging more points, reb, assists on better fg% against a GOAT defense in a slower pace with scrub teammates

Incredible series, despite his FG% (pretty sure it came mostly on mid/long range shots). 40/9/4, pushing one of the GOAT (if not the GOAT) teams to 6 games, only days after becoming 23.

40% was actually not bad in those days

Which makes Wilt's .683 all the more impressive.

He was bascially a skinny, less athletic Deandre Jordan

I was referring to people who actually took real shots, not just dunks and layups

Wilt had the luxury of being defended by people Steph Curry's size. Once he faced Bill Russel (smaller than Kevin Durant), he got shut down

    Barry was a certified baller...

See what he did in 1975, watch some of those post-seasons games, for example.

Dude would back down then hit faders over his man from like 20 feet out Great overall shooter, athletic, had footwork, could score in the paint, played defense, rebounded, extremely smart player, could pass/playmake quickly within the flow of the game, doing it while handling the ball from the perimeter too, terrific bball IQ, ice in his veins, bad mf'er, gunner...

Rick's an asshole many times but no denying he could ball...

Russell was a hell of a lot bigger than Durant. He was just 2" shorter.

Too bad the Warriors faced arguably one of the greatest teams ever in Wilt's 1967 Sixer's. The Warriors were close.

He would have averaged 45-50 points with a 3 point line. It is impressive, pace or not.

Doesn't Barry have the highest Finals career ppg average?
