because closer to the basket is generally a higher percentage shot. The fadeaways are Ok when they go in, but when that's the best you can get against the likes of Boobie Gibson, Tony Parker, Monta Ellis, etc. and you are shooting sub 40%, go get in the post and get a higher percentage shot.
