This was inspired by two posters in my "would kobe be top ten without shaq" thread. Obviously kobe had much better career in his era but put barkley in his prime in the same era as kobe who would be thought of as a better player

Barkley. He had to play in the Golden Era of 1980-1993. The majority of his prime came in that time period.

defensively? Give me one of the best defensive guards to ever play over one of the worst defensive players in NBA history.

Chucks defense has ALWAYS been a big negative and a reason why he could never win it all as the best player (even when his supporting cast in 93 was at least as good as MJs)
