Has a whole division ever made it to the playoffs?
Simple question, it would be pretty incredible.
Or has a any division come close? Fill me in on the details.

I remember the Central Division. It was Pistons, Cavs, Bucks, Pacers and Bulls back in 06.

1990 playoffs Eastern Conference had the entire Central Division.
1. Detroit
3. Chicago
6. Milwaukee
7. Cleveland
8. Indiana
This is if they had divisions back then which they didn't...

What they also didn't have is 30 (15) teams. Nice answer you had there though.

I may be, but here are a few other options:
1) I don't care about Divisions AT ALL
2) I'm not an American so this stuff is less important to me
3) All I said was I found an answer nice. I didn't say it was correct. (BTW, it was, if you look at the question.. it asked 'whether' and not 'when', especially not 'when for the last time'.)
However, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that I'm stupid. I have the right to be though.

you're right
and before that, it happened during the 1985.86 season when the Midwest Division had all six teams qualify (Houston, Denver, Dallas, Utah, Sacramento and San Antonio).
Note: The NBA had only four divisions until breaking into six divisions for starting with the 2004.05 season.

I didn't specifically call you stupid, I meant the group altogether. I mean this wasn't too long ago and people forget things like that.

I think it is more of a matter of people not caring about divisions, rather than forgetting.
