Default Are the Lakers in the worst position for rebuilding?

Already talking about trading Russel. 9-38. No real key players that could add to a winning culture.

Nope, 3 years of losing and still not even close.

No core talent, draft picks not guaranteed, weak 2016 FA's, weak draft class and poor management.

    Lakers stay losing

No they all 3 tools to rebuild a team which are through Drafts/Trades/Free Agency

They have a top draft pick, Trade assets in D-Lo, Randle & Clarkson, and Cap Space to sign 2 max players.

A team with no picks, no trade assets and zero cap space would be considered "worst"

Like? Teams aren't lining up with offers dude. There's a reason Billy King was removed from his position as GM. He destroyed that team for years to come.

Lakers without even discussing their future at least have rookies and youth with potential. Wtf does Brookyn have? You serious?

The Lakers are in one of the best positions for the future. They have young talent, draft picks, and plenty of cap space.

Draft pick, tons of cap space, and you consider that as worst position for rebuilding? All our big contracts are expiring after this season man

They have drafted a lot of role players (couldn't start on a good team), maybe if they got a legit good player to put those role players around than they could be ok. They also need a real coach. They are a looong way off. Also they don't have a good owner so that will hold them back.

If they lose this years pick then they might struggle unless they get free agents, but if they land simmons/ingram then they will look just as good as every other young rebuild team.

who are they going to sign? no one wants to go to that hell hole LA has nothing going for it right now except tons of money they can waste on mediocre talent. Not to mention the losing culture and crappy coach it will take even longer. I have to say Boston is doing it the right way. Improving the on court play and roster thru the draft at the same time. This tanking is a waste of time for something not even guaranteed.
