To be fair, if you make all star, isn't there a pretty large check you get out of it? Not to mention more exposure. Winning is a big deal to some, but progressing your career and your financial earnings is another big draw.

Last year the snub made sense. This year, he deserved to make it.

No he hasn't. The Blazers lost 4 starters, including all-star LaMarcus Aldridge, yet they are positioned at 8th seed and Lillard is the biggest reason for that. Additionally, he has raised his scoring from 21.0 to 24.3 (6th in the league) and his assists from 6.2 to 7.1 (7th in the league).

    Yup.

Lillard's conference is stacked at his position (he's not better than Harden, Curry, Westbrook) but the fact that the Blazers are in the playoff race is an immense achievement.

He's not better than Paul, and Paul leading the Clippers to wins without Blake means he has to get the nod over Lillard.

But he should have made it over Klay. Klay has been more of a roleplayer this season than a star (80% of games anyway). I understand his team is winning, and normally that should favor him, but this is an exceptional case.

Just looked at the rosters again. It's funny: he's better than every single Eastern Conference guard this season. At least, none of them are demonstrably better than Lillard.

So I guess everyone telling him he wasn't good enough wasn't enough motivation for him to get better? Point blank he's not good enough to be a Western Conference all star. Instead of recording garbage music how about you get in the gym and work at your craft.

Lillard is a very good player. Especially at his age. His conference is just stacked with some incredible players at the guard position.

    Also negged.

Except he did improve and did deserve it this year.
