Since when did LeBron grow to be 6'9?

I've seen several posters making the claim that he is indeed 6'9 now. When the **** did this happen?

Here is a comparison of LeBron to Kevin Durant. Durant, who is listed at 6'9, is giving up about a half inch in shoes(he's wearing bowling shoes) but towers over LeBron by at least 2 inches. Let's stop with this LeBron is 6'9 garbage, it's quite ridiculous.

In responding to Detroit or Washington's predicted rough house tactics for an upcoming series... I recall Lebron put out a PSA three years ago that he grew an inch and weghted 15 pounds heavier than his HS measurements. I believe the weight part and he played an inche or two taller in that series.

If he's 6'9 then Durant is 6'11 1/2 or 7' in shoes which isn't factual. He's 6'8.

Thats a ridicilous wide angle camera picture shot.... none the less, Durant IS taller than Lebron, but not that taller as that picture says.....
in that picture Durant looks more accurately at least 5 inches taller than Lebron.
If you believe that picture then Lebron is 6

I think he meant the angle of the person taking the picture.

And I think LBJ is about 6'9" in shoes

He did admit he is that tall to someone in an interview, but who is to say he was telling the truth.

And KD is taller than Lamar Odom (legit 6'10"), when they stood next to each other during the Brasil game.

But I don't really care if he is 6'8" or 6'9"

Remember when T-Mac was in Orlando? People were saying he grew to 6'10", people always exaggerate, no big deal. What's truly incredible is Durant's wingspan of 7'5". Unheard of for a perimeter player. Oddly, Durant's height and wingspan were identical to Dwight Howard's at the pre-draft camp and he weighed 25 pounds less, it's amazing that Durant then started off playing SG and Dwight transformed into a power center.
