MJ didn't want to collude with Sir Charles or Patrick Ewing or Isaiah Thomas. He wanted to beat them.

Shit, if all the best players teamed up, where's the competition? Where's the challenge?
Only bird had 2 if not 3 other hall of fame guys on his team. Why would Magic want to team up with Bird, he had freaking Kareem, oh and that worthy guy. Jordan had the only guy who maybe coulda guarded him in Pippen, and you think Rodman wasn't "teaming up" with Jordan?

The absurdity of what you just posted is mind blowing.

this jason terry, who never even sniffed at an AS/All-Nba selection?

Yes Kidd the leading playmaker who ran the offense also played defense. Dude was still a starter. Shawn Marion I was talking about somebody had to play defense against Durant and Lebron during that run. He was still a starter. Dirk had help.

Plus Terry was sixth man of year before.

The point remain Dirk had help winning the title just like any other superstar. No team hasn't won a title without at least two all-star quality talents playing vital roles to the title.

To ignore Dirk having a HOF playing with him while winning is dishonest as hell

And still Dirk carried statistically 2 of the worst supporting casts to the finals through the wild west and won 1 of the finals.

    Dirk, Hakeem, TD (2003), Lebron (2007, 2015) = wow

uhh that what superstar players supposed to do carry their squad. All the players you just name were all-nba/all-star/MVP level players.

Still they had players who made all-star teams helping them to make Finals. The only player in history had no all-star quality teammate that reach the Finals was Kidd. If you an all-nba level player you can overachieve with a suspect squad history prove that lol.

No team won a chip without two all-star quality players that all the fact I need to know cause history proves that.

No way. Few guys would go under the biggest microscope, hardly get calls and not complain. He was at different times the best rebounder, passer and a superb defender. I definitely say he's on the better half.

It's been nothing but weak minded generations since the 80's then since Kobe and Magic did the same thing. Ain't a damn thing changed except the league has less control of its players' image.

Give me a break with the whole Magic thing regarding the Lakers and Kareem!

Magic was leaving college after he won the title in 79', that was that. Did the situation in LA with Kareem entice him even MORE to come out, of course it did! Remember he was an East coast guy and would've been over the moon had a team like the Pistons drafted him specially after staying at home going to college at Michigan State. Plus he was a college player WITH NO POWER back in 79'.

What LeB!tch did is akin more to Magic bolting the Lakers after the 1986 beat down at the hands of the Rockets with Kareem on his last legs and joining Dallas, Detroit, Chicago or Boston!

Magic didn't do anything. He said what he liked to do, but back then players didn't have no where near the audacity to pull off stuff like that as underclassmen. This is a modern day rumor that has wings. You are talking about a time that didn't even have franchise players much less guys calling shots that weren't in the league yet as to where they are going. Kareem had 5 MVP's and was talking about quitting. This was right about the time where Spencer Haywood was having trouble staying in the league because he talked about player's rights.
