Default Has Vince Carter lost his Hops!

I know the guy is thirty years old but its like that first year he was with NJ he was gettin head level with the rim on all of his dunks and throwin them down! His Second year he was up there at times but he kinda started doin those baby dunks! you know that are no fun to watch! you start to notice his apparel and hes got knee sleeves, compression socks, knee pads, the works! Do you think Vinsanitys legs are giving out on him? I know that he does throw down the occasional ones but not like he used too! Maybe since he is scoring more he gets tired quicker so he focuses on just scoring not dunking! I dont know what do you think it is? i just know that it hurts me to see him play its like the guys is hurting but hes just not tellin anyone. Age may have alot to do with it but you just dont go from like a 42 inch Vert to like a 33 you know! Explain plz?
Thanks!

Maybe he finally realised that dunks don't equal wins, points do?

You get points for dunks.

he may just not care as much anymore. hes getting closer to the end of his career, and he may just be more focused on trying to win and help the team than trying to produce highlights because hes done alot of that already.

Carter just had his payday. Don't expect him to try hard anytime soon.

I think that he's knees are pretty damaged.
How many times did he jump in his life and how high?? It's big height to land from. He probably thinks now that scoring is more important.

And at any point in his career, how many dunks did he get, as opposed to jumpers now? Jumpers are a lot easier to come by and less physically draining, but I guess they don't look as good, huh?

but he's averaging his lowest point total since his rookie season(18.9). So is shooting more jumpers really helping him out?

Answer, yes.
al least he's still jammin, not in an unusual way though like before. He'll dunk on somebody before the season is over with.
