Top 10 List AFTER 2000
Since we have a good amount of posters on this forum who weren't even alive to see MJ...let's make a list of players ACTUALLY WATCHED.
1. Lebron
2. Shaq
3. Kobe
4. Duncan
5. Durant
6. Curry
7. Wade
8. KG
9. Dirk
10. Nash
Shaq is tough since he played plenty of years in the 90s and was a top 50 player all time by the late 90's for sure. But I count him since he peaked 00-02.
I didn't include too many current players since their careers aren't over. But this is my top 10 post MJ (fact version).

Garnett, Paul, Harden could also make a claim for that 10th spot.

I put KG at 8...
And Paul could make a claim for 10. Nash is clearly the weakest person on the list but still great obviously.
Also *** Harden, idc how good he is.

What's the argument for lebron over Shaq - not stats, not winning, not dominance, not comp, not team elevation/team strength/Finals record, only MVP's which isn't enough
Here's the real list - this list ranks how effective they were in their era:
Kobe
Shaq
Duncan
Curry
Durant
Lebron
Wade
Dirk
KG
Harden
Harden's the only guy that didn't make Finals

Hmmm, the names are good.
Honestly if someone wants to put Shaq 1 and Lebron 2, you could get away with that. Shaq and Lebron are both in my top 5 all time.
But KD is > Wade for sure, and IMO KD is > Curry although it's clost.

If you didn’t get your team to at least the Finals IDK if you deserve to be on the list.
At least IMO.
Here’s looking at you Harden / Nash / CP3. In no particular order it’s kind of obvious.
Shaq
Kobe
Duncan
LeBron
KG
KD
Wade
Curry
Dirk
Iverson or Kidd

I don't respect them - I post how 80% of them are open and how his contested percentage on any jumpshot is poor
But you guys count his 3's as real skill, so it counts
And the fact is that Curry changed the game and he's the lynchpin of their goat offense and team
therefore he's in another dimension from the Lebron/Wade/Westbrook type of player (ball-dominant non-shooters.. cringe.. )

Wait. How does Pau Gasol, who I'm told was the BEST BIG MAN post-Shaq, not make the list?

Honestly another guy that's hard to rank is TMAC. His peak was amazing but short-lived.
If you’re gonna have Harden or CP3 or Nash in your list ... McGrady was better than all of them.
Kidd is getting massively slept on here as well. He was Nash sans shooting, but with elite defense and superior team success.
Iverson also has now become ridiculously underrated. In today’s era he’d be even more impossible to guard. Like trying to hold water in your hands.
