I've had Childish Gambino's Awaken My Love and the Summer LP he released last year on repeat for a few weeks now. Awesome 80s/90s psychedelic funk/soul sounds.

I was at this club in Canada and this amazing beat was playing on repeat. It was so good that the bartender pulled out what I thought was a flash light and started turning it on and off to the beat of the song. Then some tranny at the bar started licking his lips and said “I bet I can show you more than one way to use that bad boy. I’m a former skater.”. Upon looking closer at the object, I saw that it was not a flash light, but rather a flesh light. The bartender was so excited that he started talking about craft beers and how he pours them on the side during beer shows in between using his flesh light and how he always ensures a perfect pour. At that point the tranny started to get all excited at the bartender’s amazing skill set. I decided it was time to bounce, as I was pissed off that what could have been a good song to have on repeat in my mind was ruined at the sight of a flesh light and the tranny’s reaction to it. Apparently I wasn’t the only one that found it disturbing, as everyone sitting at the bar quickly finished their drink and left, unused craft beer tokens and all.

Why listen to anything on repeat? Waste of time if you ask me. Throw it on playlist and listen to it when you get to it so you don't get sick of it.

It's my personal policy to never listen to anything on constant repeat, to never watch a movie multiple times even if awesome, to never read a book after reading it once, etc. You get the point.

My reasoning? I count the number of hours in life. A third of it is spent sleeping. I don't have enough time to waste re-doing same stuff. Spread it out because you will be dead before you know it. Decades feels like seconds.

I like being surrounded by the energy and vibe of the music im addicted to in that moment and how it makes me feel.
