Default Zion's High Risk of Injury

What do you think? Do you think he's the next D-Rose where his body just can't take this athletic nature? Or do you think he'll have a relatively healthy career? I don't wish bad on him or anyone, I hope he has a long career.

Zion is in constant straining situations because he compensates for lack of skill/shooting with jumping like crazy all the time and making blistering cuts to the basket. With that weight and consistent stress, sadly hes not gonna last unless he reinvents his game like Blake.

    yup... hes gonna bust.

His knees slant inward which is a huge red flag.

For comparisons sake, a guy like lebron is bow legged, and is perhaps the GOAT athlete to never get injured.

Zion basically got shaq'ed up and everybody is buying the hype because of his frame... but he lacks the real bone infrastructure of a shaq or lebron who can still be huge without all the muscle mass.

hes a fat guy in a small coat.

i mean blake is always hurt too... hes never made it through a single post season w/o getting hurt even on all those stacked teams where he couldve held back a bit and saved up.

"Here we see a few images of Derrick Rose. Notice how he is really overstriding with his legs (when your muscles and tendons are overstretching or overextending, they are particularly weak and prone to injuries) and also how he is landing on his heels."

Owning retards left and right today.

And right after I made this thread it was announced he's going to miss weeks already because of whatever is wrong with his knee. He will be getting further evaluations.

God damn youre stupid. That article backs everything Im saying

"So either you reduce your minutes/intensity, which is essentially what Kobe did, or you change the way you play so that less stress is placed on the afflicted parts of your body. This is what Derrick Rose famously did; the Chicago-born high-flyer changed from a young and explosive MVP to a much more temperate New-York Knicks point guard. Gone were the awe-inspiring dunks and the Cirque de Soleil layups, the landing of which put a huge eccentric strain on his knees which no amount of protein shakes could help with, as they were now replaced with timid layups and less drives to the lane"

Yeah but he reinvented his game due to not being a high flyer anymore.

And he avoided busting his knees. I mean the guy spent months sidelined because he punched his trainer

For **** sake thats the rapid start/stop I was talking about. Zion does the same only he weights twice as much as Rose.
