Potential in 1991-1992 Season..."IF NO INJURIES"?? Because Bird was injured but had a very good 1991-1992 Season...
1. Michael Jordan
2. Lebron James
3. David Robinson
4. Magic Johnson
5. Karl Malone
6. Charles Barkley
7. Kevin Durant
8. John Stockton (led league assists,steals...sleep on him too much, 16pts/14ast per game)
9. Clyde Drexler
10. Scottie Pippen
11. Russell Westbrook
12. Patrick Ewing
13. Kobe Bryant (43% from the field) really???
14. Chris Mullin
15. Chris Paul
16. Carmelo Anthony
17. Kevin Love
18. Deron Williams
19. Andre Igoudala
20. Blake Griffin
21. James Harden
22. Tyson Chandler
23. Christean Laettner
Larry Bird (don't know where to put him) before his injury would have been pretty high, putting up numbers better than Lebron (except scoring)

But, Drexler? Please tell me this isn't agenda-driven at all. Drexler?
Next to Bird/Pippen...he was putting up the best overall numbers in the NBA
Drexler was putting up 25pts, 6reb, 6ast, 2stl's a game....that is impressive...

(identical.... these two dudes were the only players on this level and a level way above than those listed here beneath them)
Thats scary similar. We all know what Jordan did with it, now lets see what Lebron can do.

NBA rookie of the year
Re: ESPN: Rank the 24 players from the 1992 and 2012 team.
When it comes to Magic, I don't get why some lists have him at around #10 just because he wasn't playing. I have no problem with either the notion that he should remain unranked (and so should Laettner, for the same reason) or with the idea that he'd play at around his 1991 level, which would make him, at worst, a top-4 player (whether Robinson should be ranked ahead of him is debatable, since statistically they were comparable, Robinson was a defensive beast, while Magic was a beast of a leader and clutch player - few ranked Robinson ahead of Magic in 1991).

Re: ESPN: Rank the 24 players from the 1992 and 2012 team.
Based on level of play during the years in question:
1. Michael Jordan
2. Lebron
3. Barkley
4. DRob
5. Ewing
6. Karl Malone
7. Kobe Bryant
8. Drexler
9. Chris Paul
10. Magic Johnso
11. Westbrook
12. Scottie Pippen
13. Mullin
14. Bird
15. John Stockton
16. Kevin Love
17. Carmelo Anthony
18. DWill
19. Blake Griffin
20. James Harden
21. Tyson Chandler
22. Christian Laettner
23. Andre Iguodala
Bird was getting majorly disrespected. Yes, he retired that Summer but was coming off a 20/10/7/47% season, which is still good enough to put him over many players here.
