    This is kind of arbitrary. He's not out there for the opening tip, but he play starters minutes (27 minutes) and always finishes games.

    People talk about Tony Allen deserving a legacy DPOY...I'd say Iggy belongs in that category too. He's been a dominant defender since he came in the league. It's not a coincidence that teams he goes to suddenly make massive leaps in the defensive rankings.

    Just give it to the best player of this generation for one time which is Timmy Duncan for life achievement award like how Kobe got his only MVP in 2008

    While I dont have a problem with Kobe's Mvp, or Duncan winning a dpoy

    Lifetime achievement awards are bullshit. Dont deprive someone of an award they actually earned that year for sentimental reasons.

    Kobe was the best player in the world in 08. lol at acting like that was a lifetime achievement award. I think he more than validated his MVP in the postseason.

    I thought KG was the mvp, so I disagree....

    But kobe wasnt a bad choice
