Klay Thompson hasn't been giving effort on Defense this year

He has been dogging it and not hustling and it has turned him into a one dimensional player.

He is not a good ball handler or playmaker, can only really spot up shoot and sometimes post up if he is on a blatant mismatch. Klay used to be 3&D role player type of guy but now he isn't even really consistent on defense. Harden really exposed Klay in the WCF of last year and he hasn't been the same since.

According to Pro Basketball Focus Klay is the 4th highest rated defender who plays most of his minutes at the 2. That's not bad at all

Klay is one of the premier defenders at the 2 spot, he defends the best of the best and you can't expect him to shutdown his matchup every game. Defense now a days is more of a team effort anyways.
