MJ didn't want to collude with Sir Charles or Patrick Ewing or Isaiah Thomas. He wanted to beat them.

Shit, if all the best players teamed up, where's the competition? Where's the challenge?
-So they got Moses, because Dr. J alone couldn't do it.
-So they got McHale, Parish, DJ, because...
-So he stayed in college so he doesn't get drafted by Utah.
-So they drafted Pippen, Grant, Kukoc got Rodman and alot of other pieces, because...

They difference is the deepness of starpower, might sound stupid, but back than having Jordan and Pippen on one team was okay, because other teams had stars, too, or a semi stars with a balanced roster. I think the NBA has more higher scorers right now, but the depth in all round players and game changers isn't there anymore. Ie. Indiana had a deep roster throughout the 90s and a guy in Miller, who could change a game's outcome greatly by his performance. The middling playoff teams don't have players like this anymore. The lieague is packed with Isaiah Riders and the likes. So the league can't compensate for it anymore if a genuine star leaves a crap team to team up.

Melo is the same age as Pierce when Garnett and Allen formed their Big Three.

And Sportsjames23 is an idiot. Those guys played with a very stacked team. No need for them to team up with another great/good players.

And Magic and Bird won't be playing with those stacked teams in the modern era because we now have an NBA Salary Cup.

A high school player, with no legit pull, tells NBA GMs what to do? In an era when drafting high school players was not common?

    GTFOH.

You are a perfect example of Generation B1tch Made. Never was raised by a man, so you were coddled and held by your hand your whole life. Reared by a woman to be a follower rather than a leader. Brought up to always take the easiest, safest route because you're afraid of a challenge, just like a woman.

Bradley is going to KO Pacquiao. He's going to put him out of his misery. No More Catchweights, (Oops Canelo is also doing that. ), No More Peds, and No More beating boxers who just lost, or struggled in their previous fights.

1996 draft took place on June 26

Lakers sign the Disel on July 18th

somehow Kobe not only was able to manipulate GM's at 17 years old but he was also able to predict the future a month ahead of time

    great call

Back in 1996 Shaq was on the Lakers Radar. Kobe is the ultimate opportunist, and he wanted to play for a big market team like the Lakers like his "idol" Magic Johnson.

The latest offer by the Lakers was probably their final one. They have already made several moves to create more salary cap room -- trading Vlade Divac to Charlotte, then trading Anthony Peeler and George Lynch to Vancouver. The Lakers wanted O'Neal to make a final decision quickly, giving them a chance to sign other free agents in case O'Neal decided to re-sign with Orlando.

do you mean jason terry? this jason terry, who shot 3x under 40% in the playoffs? this jason terry who was one of the worst defenders on his position in the entire nba?
this jason terry, who never even sniffed at an AS/All-Nba selection?
