It has to be a little weird for a lot of these guys in the combine. By that I mean they've likely spent their entire lives being at the top of the food chain. They've spent the past 3-5 years being recruited, requested, and highly touted. Yet, here they are essentially trying out in hopes of gaining a spot where they want to be. It's a little bit of a role reversal and it's interesting.

When I saw him for the first time (when I didn't even know his name) I thought "Damn this dude looks just like Teague" and then I see "Marquis Teague"

It's interesting that the top dogs decline to work out because they have little to earn, but if they have a bad day in front of all those scouts and GMs your stock may fall drastically...

I think this must be the hardest thing for most NBA rookies. Maybe only 15 or so guys in every draft end up even being starters their first season, so it's got to be tough for them. Like on the Celtics, since the summer of 2007, Bradley has been the only guy to come through and play significant minutes, and even then there were a lot of questions about him his rookie year.
