It's been pretty remarkable watching his postseason run so far. He's delivered, and been huge late in games too.

    28.7/5.2/6.6 with 1/8 steals 59.7% TS

Pretty damn solid numbers all around

steve kerr holds the record for 3pt %

rick barry holds the record for ft%

theyre statistically the greatest shooters ever

as far as ability to shoot over the defense

kobe and bird were much better at creating their own shots and getting a good look whenever they wanted without a screen or running around.

curry is the best hybrid 3pt specialist/scorer with the right team around him. but if he didnt have so many weapons on the court. defenses would just collapse on him. and he would be useless.

guys like kobe and bird could attack a double team or split 3 guys/shoot over the top without needing a juke/spin/hesitation fancy dribble move

greatest volume 3pt specialist = curry

    greatest shooting scorers = kobe/bird

His shooting ability wouldnt be useless without the right team. His win loss column would suffer yes as would any player without the right team.

I believe he could take anyone throughout nba history in a pure shooting contest.

We might be, but not really a fan of Steph Curry. Dude's averaging 11 3's a game (21 FGA's). I rather prefer watching players like Kobe, Wade, LeBron, KD, etc.. Curry's a great player and top 5 in the world right now, but don't really like his game.

I kinda agree with this but recently I've been changing my mind a bit.

Curry brings me back to being a kid and being in awe of the 3 ball, and enamored with players who perfected this shot because they were the ultimate threats. the snipers. the guys who could score 1 more point than the others because they were just that skilled.

the way curry plays is also just fascinating. plus he doesn't look as black as the others and isn't as big and strong so I can kinda pretend I'm him when I'm jacking up bricks at the gym. Problem is "CURRY!" doesn't sound as alpha as "KOBE!"

You realize Steph will have doubled both Kerr and davis(the other guy barely ahead of him in all time 3pt percentage by the end of next year in terms of 3s made? And that neither would even be ahead of him without the shortened 3 point line. Steph being the goat 3pt shooter is probably the least debateable goat argument in basketball and I'm not a gs fan.

What that guy does as a shooter is just stunning. He takes the most 3s of anyone ever and percentage wise the difference between him and reggie miller is the same as the difference between miller and a slightly below average 3pt shooter.
