Pick up Game of PG
Chris Paul
Russell Westbrook
Kyrie Irving
Derrick Rose
Tony Parker
Steph Curry
John Wall
Kyle Lowry
Damian Lillard
Rajon Rondo
What team would win in a pick up game?

Re: Pick up Game of PG
Team 2, better 3-point shooters, won't hurt themselves by steppin' on the court(D-Rose) plus better 3-point shooters and superior rebounding.

Re: Pick up Game of PG
Anybody who has played pickup ball knows that the layup line beats the shooting team every time. In more organized ball team two would have a better chance but would still lose more often than not.

Dunking on everybody in the park
Re: Pick up Game of PG
Team 1 and fairly easily if you ask me
paul westbrook and rose??? gtfo
then kyrie and parker
the 2 most athletic PG's, one with an MVP
a finals MVP
and a fiba mvp
and the consensus best PG of our generation

The Special One
Re: Pick up Game of PG
The team with Curry and Lillard for obvious reasons.

IMO you are badly wrong from an organized standpoint, because it is NOT like pickup ball.
Team A has:
suspect defending and poor rebounding (kyrie, drose, parker).
bad spacing (drose, westbrook, parker is inconsistent sometimes). only elite shooter is kyrie.
They have the best rebounder in westbrook, but as a team they are avearge (kyrie, rose, parker).
They do however have the best PG in cp3.
From a coaching standpoint A has two hothead chuckers in westbrook and kyrie with drose also prone to chucking/ dumb alpha behavior.
Team B has:
excellent defenders (wall lowry rondo), way better than team A.
significantly better spacing (curry!!, lillard, lowry) than team A. Elite shooting tbh.
rondo is almost as good a rebounder as westbrook, wall and lowry are both big strong guys that rebound well. Curry and lillard are average but overall they rebound better than team A.
team B also has a big size advantage over team A: curry, wall, lowry strength, lillard, rondo's wingspan
team B has coachable guys, with only two alphas in lillard and curry who are also the best offensive options, so they can play like their normal style.
So LOL at this comparison. Team B whoops team A. Out of 100 games team B should get close to 80.

Knicks all da way
Re: Pick up Game of PG
Team A, they are too big and physical because Westbrook and Rose would dominate anyone on team B.

Decent playground baller
Re: Pick up Game of PG
Currently? Team 2. Primes? Team 1.

Re: Pick up Game of PG
Team 2 essentially does a 5 man weave until Lillard or Curry are open for a 3, while Wall, Lowry, and Rondo take open layups/dunks. People talking about Westbrook forget that he is best just sprinting to the basket and not sharing the ball as much, which makes the other players less useful.

Good college starter

So essentially what your saying is that the team with the most scrubs wins? Good to know.

1) You are bringing up rebounding??? Its negligible at best. The team shooting three's is going to be missing the most. And guess what - they are going to be long rebounds for what might be one of the best running teams on the planet. They also get more steals and fouls.
2)Rose, Westbrook and Kyrie never needed much spacing. Parker does, but his role is to set picks. Plus they are much better creators. Rose, Westbrook, an Kyrie are too strong for anybody on team B and would likely be the only guys posting in the game. Paul and Parker also post better, than anybody on the other team. Westbrook and Rose with angles to the basket are easily the most unstoppable players in the game. Spacing actually favors team A unless team B is hot.
3)Westbrook/Rose/CP3/Parker all four are far more experienced and controll the game more than anybody on the other team.
4)Rose is the only MVP, he and Parker are the only ones to have the best record in the league, Parker has the only FMVP, Westbrook recently had one of the best playoff runs in recent memory. All of these are major milestones. Team two doesn't have anything close.
5)Paul/Wstbrook and Wall are superrior to Wall/Rondo/Lowery as defenders. Paul and Westbrook might have made all defensive teams. Rose is the best at reading scouting reports and is the only defender that dominated the elite at his position.
6)Wall can't hold off a whole team of athletes. This is a game of layups and creativity. Curry is the only one that is consistently on with his shot. Two others would have to get on for them to win. And its highly unlikely.
7)With all the guys the same size, the coaching will heavily favor the first team. They will switch every time, meaning open jump shots are less likely and the more athletic team will get the half of step it needs to get to the rim.
8)One team is obviously bigger, stronger, faster, quicker and more versatile. The other team does shoot better.
When is the last time an all shooting team ever did anything??? GSW are good but they aren't expected to make it to the conference finals.
Good try tho!
