Pool table. Yay or Nay?
Well I been thinking bout getting a pool table in my apartment cause there's a lot of open space and I like shooting pool even though I'm not any good.
I see this one at Walmart: http://www.walmart.com/ip/EastPoint-...Table/27173025
For $297
Do you guys know any other good starter pool tables that's not that expensive?

People always gravitate to pool tables. Even people that don't know how to play pool. Plus that's a pretty good price I'd say go for it

A new pool table that is 297 is a shitty ass pool table. If you're serious about getting something that's not a laughing stock it will run you 4-600 used. You'll need about 3 friends to help you move it and you'll have to know how to properly level it and re-felt. Find a solid used slate 8 footer and make sure the bumpers aren't dead.

I dunno jack about pool tables, but I'd try to find one cheaper than $300
True.
Me and friends go out to play pool a lot but I haven't had too many people at my place lately though so idk. I'm afraid it would just sit there like you said.
That's actually the cheapest table I've seen. Others are like $500 and up

This.
I am a pool player and competed 3 nights out of the week in weekly tournaments. That's how I tried to get spending money one summer in college. That is piece of crap table but if OP needs it to fill space in a room then go for it.
A good table will run you upwards to 1k used. Is that a 9 foot, 8 foot or 7 foot table? Usually a 9 foot table is a 3 piece slate. A pool table is heavy as hell too.
Bumpers are probably dead and garbage. The felts probably sucks too. Table may play slow or plays crooked.

I play but I'm not good for real.
I was thinking bout a pool table or air hockey table.

For $197
I seen the combo tables with ping pong, pool, and hockey for decent price also

I don't wanna pay that much for a pool table. I'd rather get a bigger tv for that price.
The reviews are good on it.
It's not like I'm gonna be having pro tournaments on it
