Bosh has shown this year that he is one of the few players in the NBA currently who is good enough individually to win the MVP, but that's only one part of it, he needs to add team success in order to actually win.
Did you forget Wade and LeBron, both are playing better then Bosh.
I don't see what those guys are doing that he Isn't. Bosh has been putting his team on his back EVERY single night with his supporting cast struggling. Lebron has the team success on Bosh, but I don't see the Cavs keeping up at this pace. Also expecting the Raps to pick it up soon and be a top 4 team in the east.
It's a lofty goal, and the Raptors will have to have one of the top 4 records in the East for it to happen (team success counts a lot). It warms my heart to think what will happen if Bosh goes for MVP, stays healthy, and the rest of the team stays healthy and gives Bosh some help.
But when you think about it based on performance RIGHT NOW, only Lebron and Wade are ahead of him. And the Heat will have a worse record than the Raptors unless they move Marion for a legit center. So you could say that right now, Bosh is only behind Lebron in the MVP race. That could change if the Raptors start losing or Bosh's production dips, or when one of Amare, Kobe, CP3, D-Will, Dirk, Dwight, KG or PP, etc. starts to tear the league up.
And even if the Raptors record doesn't get him the MVP, he could walk away with a scoring title, although Wade is looking more likely there.
