Phil Jackson: "Quite often I could feel Kobe's hatred.
"Phil Jackson has been remarkably open and frank about his tumultuous first season in New York and his past stints with the Bulls and Lakers in a series of interviews with Charlie Rosen for ESPN, and in an interview published Monday, Jackson recounts how difficult his relationship with Kobe Bryant was at times.
In February, Kobe Bryant reflected on his career in an interview with GQ, and argued that he could have left the Lakers before signing a contract extension in 1999 and taken over the league. Bryant also had some harsh words for Jackson, who had been critical of Bryant at the time.

What can I do for you?
Re: Phil Jackson: "Quite often I could feel Kobe's hatred.
Kobe has always seemed to be somewhat a misanthrope to me. Ah, well, he's got 5 rings, so I'm sure he doesn't give a sh*t.

the funny thing is.. kobe could have won 10 titles with shaq and had 7 finals mvps... people would still say "but you had shaq"
winning 2 without him was worth more than any amount of rings with him.. throwing shaq off the bus literally catapulted his all time legacy. best thing that ever happened
and his haters hold onto that bitterness till this very day

I really did not know the triangle was that offensive Jackson / Kobe / Shaq
* I can safely say the triangle offense was a heII of alot better in Chicago than it was in L.A.
