Default "Hollywood" Getting Thrown Under the Bus

All trolling aside from Nathan but it seems like the Bulls have had enough of "Hollywood" Jimmy Butler and probably move on from him in the offseason. The Bulls look like they are running a smear campaign on Butler with all the leaks coming out recently and throughout the year regarding his leadership style and resulting clashes. If the Bulls are legit in looking to move Butler than all the leaks and smear campaign, do a disservice to them in hurting his trade value.

Frankly I don't think Butler wanted to reup in Chitown, which explains some of his actions but should contenders seriously consider him with the new "baggage" items attached to him. As a Celtics fan, I feel we could be a perfect match for a star like Butler and feel he would fit in with workers like IT, Bradley, and Crowder.

So I'm also hoping the issues that arisen with him have more so to do with his leadership not meshing with an older vet laden Bulls team and that a change of scenery would help if that change is to a team with younger/hungrier players.

Lakers should offer Clarkson, Randle, and Larry Nance Jr.

definitely, an attempt to scapegoat him from management and coaches.

We got off to pretty solid start. Then some things happened. Most of that comes from the 1 comment after the NY game by Jimmy.

Rumors Bulls looking at Okafor, send Jimmy to the 76ers might make him rethink that attitude

But for real, love me some Jimmy Buckets

    seems like a mediocre offer
would LA be willing to trade a top 2 pick???

    Randle + top 2 pick
    Clarkson + top 2 pick

    or
    top 2 pick alone

If im the bulls i'm definitely asking for a top pick for Butler

Bad move. Even if they want to trade him, let others make the offers first. Teams will low-ball the Bulls if they know that they want Jimmy gone.

That would make sense. Sixers also have the 22nd and 26th picks in addition to their own pick. They could also have the Lakers pick if it falls outside the top 3. Okafor, 22nd, 26th, and Saric for Butler. Best case scenario they end up with the 1st overall pick and the 4th pick. I would package those picks for Paul George(only 2 years left on his deal). Sign Mike Conley and Batum.

    Conley
    Butler
    Batum
    George
    Noel/Embiid

2 years ago, Buckets was a low-key, under the radar, out from nowhere, late first round steal for the Bulls. Now, he's being viewed upon by critics as a primma donna. Not saying the rumours are true, but time and money certainly have a way of changing people and not for the better.

I just don't see the point. Trade butler for a young player who won't be near as good as him an a pick where you pray you draft someone as good as Jb? Are we trading rose and Noah too? If that's the case fire gar/pax and get a good general manager and do it right

The going rate of a star player over the years seems to match a high pick and possibly young player(s) assuming if the Bulls are even serious about moving him. Keep in mind if the Bulls are rebuilding than they need to sell hope which why getting a high lottery pick comes in hand
