blake griffins release was pretty nasty once upon a time (though, never mkg ulgy) but with proper shooting training, he improved immensely

so given time, maybe this boy will have to be guarded somewhat honestly in the mid range area.

Crazy late release. I have one too but I play recreational ball and just sit around the 3 point. I troll my teammates that I play at night (pretty much know all of them and all of us at least know what our teammates are good at). I'm a sharpshooter but I am very hot and cold. If I haven't played for a week, I be shooting like 25% from the field and oddly enough there are some nights I score 8 of the 12 points on like 4/4 shooting.

A lot of the shot involved is technique. Some nights I get stupid and do fadeaways or I don't follow through on my release. Also I feel players should use the backboard more. On angled 3s (not corners), I've started just banking them in like crazy in game. It's probably my best shot in my arsenal. Sadly the name that ISH gives me "I brick open lay ups" do apply to real life . I can't do shit in the paint lol. #guardproblems

I really thought with his work ethic, which was legendary at UK, and professional coaches working with him everyday, his jumper would have improved by leaps and bounds by 2014.

It looks as bad as ever in these videos. I'm not sure if it's fixable at this point. He just has no clue how to shoot.

Agreed. I also thought he would improve a lot within the first few years. I felt he had a lot of Andre Iguodala without the 20 ppg ability that he once had (in the mid to late 2000s)

I thought he came out too early but I thought he would be a fringe all star at some point. He's still young.

Anyways, just checked his age. Did not know he was still just 20 years old, that's huge for him. If he was a 4-year man out of college and was 23-24 right now, I'd probably say there's no hope. But he's still extremely young, there's plenty of time. I wouldn't give up on him until he's still doing this at 23 or so.
