They should of shot more 3's in the 90's but they didn't. They also should of shot more 3's in the 80's but they didn't.

The modern view on the 3 point shot was slow to catch on. Earlier coaches didn't buy into it even though now it has proven to be one of the most efficient ways to score and a valuable tool to stretch out the defense. Thus allowing easier dribble penetration.
