They have a rim protector in Moz. They have 6 man of the year Smith back and a great player in Oman shumpert. This team is stacked even more. People underrated Iman/Smith because they were on horrible team. The thing is some players don't play up to their standards on horrible ass teams. Iman was balling at the beginning of the season and then cooled off.

They still go to iso plays occasionally, but every team in the league does that when the first couple options breakdown. That includes the Spurs, who -- when all else fails -- will clear out for Duncan in the post or allow Parker to create.

It just so happens that the Cavs have two of the best isolation players in the league, so that helps. Everything you see an iso shouldn't be looked at as a failure. They're a necessity at times.

But in general the ball has been jumping recently.
This, which is why the Cavs will really blossom in the playoffs in my opinion and which is also why Lebron can straight up carry a team during the postseason where you have way more offensive breakdowns than in the regular season since defensive intensity picks up so much.

The Cavs were two pieces away from being legit contenders in the East, so good move by the GM to make that happen. Waiters is nice, but the Cavs had players to fill in his scoring quite easily. I wasn't even expecting Moz to be able to contribute much offensively, but he's been doing well on that end also.
