Cavs have been wanting to rid Waiters, and lord knows they need a defender in the backcourt. Cavs want to make the playoffs, especially if they want to recruit Lebron (lol).

Bulls can stay competitive in the east, and if the team ends up losing more games, they can tank and keep their pick if they end up with the Top 10 lottery pick.

Imagine Rose/Afflalo/Butler/Boozer/Noah.

Cavs are giving up way too much in your proposed trade. Even if they want to get rid of Waiters, that doesn't mean that they will give him away.

They'd be better off "Giving him away" by trading him to the Bulls straight up for Hinrich. That way they don't lose the pick, too.

But to be serious, the Bulls trade is acceptable, but only if Rose is healthy. Without a healthy Rose, the team won't/can't contend. Don't need a 28 yo that is not an all-star caliber player unless they (Bulls) are contending and he would help put them over the top.

Clippers should have tried to get Afflalo instead of Redick with Bledsoe. Afflalo does everything better than JJ and he would be the wing defender the Clippers so desperately need.

Thats a dumb statement. Of course he would be traded for better. And to be honest, I would trade him if it meant getting Afflalo. He is the perfect compliment to Durant and Westbrook. He will do the dirty work and is a guy who you have to cover.
