Hooping with Gilbert Arenas & Co.
Here I am in the background, Photobombing Gilbert during our game! Haha
And here's the box score for the game! I'm the Point Guard, Alex Mak (6'0 165 lbs). Haha I dropped 37 & 16 against him with high efficiency.

I play against a lot of ex-NBA players in all the best leagues around the Los Angeles Valley area. Played College Ball back in 2006ish, my squad is a killer crew as well. Gotta love hoopin'!

Re: Hooping with Gilbert Arenas & Co.
Yeah, basically we played an extended 3-2 Zone with our middle guy being the best defender and the other two trapping and applying pressure to the ballhandlers.

Re: Hooping with Gilbert Arenas & Co.
He still has that jumper, but his lateral quickness probably evaporated after the knee injury. He doesn't play too much defense nowadays, but he does have strong hands. I would usually run him around a screen or two and then attack all game. Once I got in the lane, I would either make layups / floaters, or kick it out to my deadeye shooters. My squad is real solid, the only guy who didn't play any college ball is our pure 3-point shooter. Otherwise, everyone is pretty big and solid on both ends of the floor. I run around screens constantly as the PG and create chaos, while always looking to distribute to my teammates. We are a high offensive powerhouse type team, with a couple defensive specialists.
Other guys we've played against in some LA leagues are Bryon Russell, Pooh Richardson, Mitch Richmond, Jalen Rose, Mark Jackson... I'm sure there's a few others as well.

Re: Hooping with Gilbert Arenas & Co.
High picks around the 3 point line when on-ball, and we circle around many times as I run around intelligently causing chaos around the court. Our squad is full of 3 point shooters, so if anyone helps in the lane they are in trouble from deep. We have a couple pretty good bigs, a 6'9 275 banger and a 6'6 with freakishly long arms, so they set me good picks and roll hard to the basket. When they're not setting me picks, they're setting back picks for our shooters to make my job a little easier.
Jalen Rose is still a pretty good ball player, but he's a little out of shape compared to the old days. It seems most players once they're out of the league stop caring about their conditioning and physical shape. Dude is still pretty wet from outside, and he's got some decent size at around 6'7. Definitely very skilled still, but everything he does is at a very slow speed. So, I guess the quick answer would be "Yes, he does play like an old man." But he's still got a lot of skill and would be unstoppable against an average rec league player (Or anyone smaller than 6'4ish). When we played against him last, he didn't have great success against us because of some solid help defense (and his lack of great teammates), but in the league we were playing he averaged around 30 points per game.
Out of all those guys I listed earlier, Pooh Richardson probably plays at the highest current level. He's gotten heavy (6'1 230ish), but he uses that big body to create space for that jumper.
Haha, some other interesting guys I've played against lately are Mike Penberthy (Lakers shooter back in the day).. oh, and I gave it to The Professor (of And1) savagely recently. He got ejected from the game on a frustration Flagrant / Technical / Ejection against me in the 4th quarter. Haha

any tips for how to move with and off ball in 2-3 zone as a PG/SG and how to feed the high post during 2-3 zone?

Well, one important thing is to make someone actually guard you in the zone. So one of the guys will have to come up on you, forcing some kind of defensive rotation. Find the gap, and get it to that player as soon as you see it. Anything small, say a dribble move to keep the defender honest, then feed the high post for example. When you do feed the high post, cut down towards the 3-point wings because he won't be able to see you if you just stand behind him. Be ready to take a shot or make a quick pass against a zone. The best way to break a zone is with multiple quick passes until an open shot, while everyone is cutting off the ball to cause shifts in the defense.

I play decent defense on ball but I'm certainly not a lockdown gritty defender all game by any means. My best abilities are getting lots of steals, I play passing lanes intelligently and plan my reaches very well as I pick up on opposing player's ballhandling patterns quickly. I conserve a little bit of energy on that end of the floor when I can get away with it, since I'm the focal point of the offense I need more of my energy for that. But I still usually get a high amount of steals due to a few intelligent gambles. Maybe think like a Rubio type on defense, but not hounding the ball as heavily as he does. I'm small for basketball (6'0 160-165lbs), so I do have some trouble with bully guards in the Baron Davis style players. But I can at least funnel them into the bigs and turn them.

Re: Hooping with Gilbert Arenas & Co.
We played Gilbert again last Thursday, and this time Nick Young (Swaggy P) was also on his team. We won 112-100, what a fun game! It was a playoff game, and they were extremely frustrated playing against us. Nick Young even tried flopping quite a few times! Haha
I had 30pts & 9assists. Will post the box score and video as soon as it's up! The whole game was recorded by the League, but I haven't gotten hold of the video yet.
