No he's not. Mudiay is an actual floor general with very good handles, his problem is experience..just figuring out angles, finding out what he can and can't get away with, general rookie mental and skill refinement. His court vision is terrific and his handles are fluid, he just has to play his way into comfort. He is way better than his numbers suggest. MCW is not as bad as most people think but he doesn't have near Mudiay's natural feel as a true point.

MCW is a very good PG. His assist numbers just don't look all that great because he's playing with incompetent losers. Hard for him being the best player on the Bucks and carrying those scrubs.

Complete shitpost. Dude isn't even a top 4 offensive player on the Bucks. He is without question the worst offensive player in the starting lineup and single handedly makes the offense worse. His defense is fantastic which makes him a net neutral player most nights (and why I do think he's underrated as an overall player) but you have no idea what you're talking about with regards to his offense.

This is the problem with not watching guys play. Mudiay has size, speed, quickness, strength etc. but the thing that holds him back from being an athletic specimen is hops. He can get up but nothing crazy. Certainly not Rose/Westbrook/Wall etc.

Leaping just isn't really apart of his game at all outside of getting some blocks. Early on he's been laying it up instead of throwing it down.

He was consensus top 2 pick after senior year in HS. He only fell because he went to China, and wasn't scouted much over there. He should have been a top 4 pick at worst.

I think some people forget he's only 19. Which is significantly younger (in NBA terms) than even a 21 or 22 year old. He can grow and improve a lot in 2-3 years.

A 19 year old pg leading an NBA team is unheard of these days.
