Default Calling Steph Curry an early MVP candidate is a joke...

Have you seen the team he is on? The players they have? He's not even the MVP of his own team...Bogut is. Bogut who leads the league in drating and is by far this teams best defender AND rebounder. (10rpg in 27 mins) I could see this team persevering and doing better without Curry as opposed to without Bogut. They still have a lot of fire power regardless and it's not like Curry is Chris Paul as far as pure pg ability.

If anything there is just too many good players for anyone to have early MVP recognition from this team.

I agree somewhat. Blake is just as valuable. It goes by record though

You could replace Curry with an average PG, and the Warriors would probably have a pretty good record. The same could not be said about Bogut.

Uh...no. You could not just replace Bogut with an "average" center and expect the same results. That is asinine.

Edit: Oh a good record...probably. Probably similar to last years Suns maybe. The team falls of huge without Bogut though and frankly they did only win 51 games last year...I guess it depends on how much you think that was Mark Jackson.

Bogut's passing and defense isn't THAT easily replaceable by an "average" center...

The warriors are 16-2 and Curry is their best player. Yeah the team is great. Bogut is a beast. Put its not like Curry is out there putting up garbage.

Dude is the MVP. (For now)

No he isn't. This one of the main problems with basketball and fans in general...Steph Curry averages the most points on the team...he must be the most valuable player...except he's not. What he does ON THIS TEAM is easier replaced than what Bogut does. It's a personnel thing maybe...but it's still true.

It's Harden so far imo. Roster is really depleted and he's playing solid on defense for once.

Bogut is the real MVP of the team, but by traditional voting standards it would be Curry. Unless you play with another MVP candidate, the strength of the squad doesn't factor that much imo.

****ing Bullshit. The Warriors are unreal when Curry is on the Court. Im not even hating on Bogut. But if you asked him who the MVP of the team is, do you really think he would say himself and not Curry? No.

Yeah Bogut is valuable as he is their only center, but that doest mean he is Steph Curry who is without question a top 5 player this year. Hell, you could put him at number 1 so far.

'baby girl ankles' has played 80, 74, 26, 78, and 78 games in his previous season. Can you find the outlier?

OP is a shithead. Arguably the greatest shooter in NBA history, and the league's best PG is "replaceable"?

OP is one of those basketball hipsters who are overly obsessed with 10/10 big men. Yes, every title team needs a guy like Bogut, but is he the best player on the team? Absolutely not. He would tell you that himself, as would Steve Kerr. Yes, he's a vital piece, but you're taking it way too far. You sound just as silly as those people who think Tyson Chandler was the MVP of the 2011 Mavs.

    Seriously, this is just ludicrous.
