The Miami HEAT announced their 2014-15 preseason schedule today, which will be highlighted by the team’s three home games at AmericanAirlines Arena and their NBA Global Games Rio 2014 trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The HEAT will open the preseason in Louisville, KY on Saturday, October 4, when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans. The HEAT’s first home game in Miami will be held on Tuesday, October 7 vs. Orlando. The team will then travel overseas for a game in Brazil vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers, before returning back to Miami to face the Atlanta Hawks on October 14 and the Houston Rockets on October 21.

In addition to the three home games at AmericanAirlines Arena, the HEAT will also host a game at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO, taking on the Golden State Warriors on October 17. This marks the fifth time the HEAT will play in Kansas City.

The complete broadcast schedule for both the preseason and regular season will be released at a later date.
