Are you on drugs? You would have to be an idiot to trade him for a top 5 with how he was playing college.

Would Chicago have traded Rose? I don't think so.
Anybody in 1988+ till 1993 would have been traded for Jordan.

Very good NBA starter
Re: LeBron being traded after being the first pick?
From 1990 and up: Shaq, Duncan, and Lebron would be untouchable.

Re: LeBron being traded after being the first pick?
Probably Kareem, Ewing, and Lebron. It had a lot to do with how hyped they were as prospects, but it arguably had more to do with who were the top players at the time then anything else. With Kareem, players like Wilt, West, Baylor, and Oscar were in their 30s. With Ewing, Kareem and Moses were too old at that point, Magic and Bird wouldn't have been worth trading for at that point since the Knicks didn't have a great supporting cast, and Jordan was too new to take that risk (remember, Ewing didn't live up nearly to his hype). With Lebron, Shaq was past his prime and Duncan and Kobe just weren't good enough to take that risk especially when the Cavs didn't have a great supporting cast.
As far as other great players go, I'm sure the Lakers would've considered trading Magic if it someone more established like Dr. J to team up with Kareem. The Rockets would've considered trading Hakeem since they already had a young All-Star center in Ralph Sampson. I'm sure any team during Jordan's career after 1987, including the 92 Magic and 97 Spurs who drafted Shaq and Duncan, would've traded their pick to the Bulls for Jordan. The no. 1 picks between Duncan and Lebron weren't that good, and after 2003, I'm sure any team would've considered trading for Lebron (even the NOH with Anthony Davis, as long as Lebron said he'd extend.)

There were rumors that the Blazers turned down KG and Duncan for Oden.
Even after Oden's 2nd year, Blazers turned down Oden+Batum for CP3.

Never heard of KG. But I believe the Blazers proposed trading Oden for Duncan and the Spurs turned it down.

Despite him being 34 years old, it wouldn't surprise me if the Spurs would have traded for Jordan using Duncan. The Spurs with Robinson had been a disappointment in the playoffs for years, so they might've not been able to pass up a Jordan/Robinson duo.

Re: LeBron being traded after being the first pick?
I think there's a difference between teams making a trade, and trading a player
trading a player is generally hard to get equal value in return
making a trade probably involves more of having a specific purpose in mind
which is really a glorified 3 team trade when most 3rd teams don't find much reason to help.
