Roy Hibbert hasn't always been such a poop rebounder. What happened?

Past 3 seasons Roy Hibbert was a solid rebounder.

2010-11: 9.8 rebounds per 36 minutes
2011-12: 10.6 rebounds per 36 minutes:
2012-13: 10.4 rebounds per 36 minutes

2013-14: 8.0 rebounds per 36 minutes, and his rebounding was much better earlier in the year.

Yet Haslem makes him look like Mugsy Bogues.

pg, david west, george hill, and lance stephenson are great rebounders too. they rebound as a team while hibbert boxes out the big-man.

You would have to actually watch the games to know he's not a bad rebounder. If you watched those 3 seasons then you'd notice he's not being out rebounded by the opposing team, but more by his teammates. I'll go out on a limb and say anybody on their roster who's minutes increased that their rrbounds increased by a bit because PG is a good rebounder and so is Stephenson.

Pacers have always been a great rebounding team since Roy started coming into his own.

As for his own individual rebounding, people need to stop looking at the man's height. He doesn't have good rebounding instincts to be a great rebounder. He does well when he's on his game, but it seems like he hasn't been for the last 2 months now.

I just wonder what happened to his scoring the last 3 months. He hasn't scored over 10 a game during since the end of January.
