It's a career ending injury dumbass. Mutombo was still one of the fifthteen best defensive centers in the league during his early years as a Rocket. Interesting the season before we acquired Keith Jones, Mutombo played 75 games at the age of 40 and finished the a defensive rating of 96, yet only played 39 games the season after.
